The Research Center on the Economics of Education and Training (LUISS) aims to monitor the evolution of the economic system toward a knowledge-based economy.The research is directed not only at scholars, but also at businesses and families, in order to shape educational decisions and try to lessen the mismatch between competencies acquired during education and the needs of the labor market. The center aims to give a truthful but positive image of the Italian situation, therefore employing a different approach that underlies Italian excellence in several fields. The final goal is to create a self-reinforcing network of excellence.
