Natalia Daśko – PhD in legal sciences, assistant professor in the Department of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. Completed the English and European Union Law Course organized by The British Law Centre and the Postgraduate Study of Intellectual Property Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. Attorney at law in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Bar Association. Prize-awardee of the Minister of Science and Higher Education in the competition of the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland for the best doctoral thesis in the field of intellectual property protection (2016), first prize in the LII National Competition “State and Law” for the best doctoral thesis in the field of legal sciences (2017) and START Scholarship for Young Scientists of the Foundation for Polish Science (2019). Author of numerous scientific works, including the monograph “Criminal Law Protection of Trademarks” (C.H. Beck, 2017). Specializes in criminal law, especially in criminal law protection of intellectual property and pharmaceutical crime. Research interests also include crimes against protection of information, crimes against the credibility of documents and sex crimes. Member of the Internationale Association de Droit Penal in Paris.
